Using the app

What is Inchworm?

Inchworm helps you go from frozen to started. You tell it the thing you're avoiding, it hands you one absurdly small first step, and you do five quiet minutes. Starting is the win.

Is it a to-do list?

No — that's the point. To-do lists are great once you've started; Inchworm is for the part before that, when you can't begin. It deliberately shows you one thing at a time.

The AI breakdown seems off. What do I do?

Try rephrasing the task in a sentence or two, or just tap into the step anyway — the goal is momentum, not a perfect plan. If breakdowns consistently miss, email us the example and we'll dig in.

Does voice input / soundscapes not work?

Voice input, body-double soundscapes, and unlimited breakdowns are part of Inchworm Pro. Voice also needs microphone permission — you can grant it in your device settings.

What's in Inchworm Pro?

Unlimited task breakdowns, voice input, body-double soundscapes, and more. The free tier keeps the full core loop — a few breakdowns a day, unlimited manual starts, and the timer.

How do I cancel?

Manage or cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account settings (Subscriptions). Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. Your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

I paid but Pro isn't active.

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same App Store / Google account you bought with. Still stuck? Email us.

Your data & privacy

Do I need an account?

No. Inchworm works anonymously from the first launch — no name, email, or password required.

How do I export or delete my data?

From Settings in the app you can export or delete your data and account. You can also email us to request it. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Something's broken

The app crashed or won't load.

Try closing and reopening it, then updating to the latest version. If it keeps happening, email us your device model and what you were doing — that helps us fix it fast.
